ABOUT
We are delighted to announce the 7th annual D7K, the Dublin 7 Educate Together National School 7km & 3km Family Fun Runs which will take place in the Phoenix Park at 11am on Sunday 19 May 2019.
The event gets the school and the surrounding community together in an environment that supports fun, health, fitness and well-being.

THE RACE
Both races start on 15 Acres and finishes near the junction of Acres Road and Khyber Road with both routes remaining off-road. The 7km route follows two loops of the outer ring along the path of the notorious Khyber Road, up a steep hill towards the Magazine Fort, then back along the cycle path to the finish. This course is not for the faint hearted, but if you are a seasoned 5km runner who fancies a challenge then this race is for you.
The 3km route is much more gentle and follows the cycle path around the 15 acres - this is a perfect route for runners, joggers, walkers, novice/beginners, young adults and children alike.
POST RACE
After the run enjoy our cool down area where you can enjoy something to eat and/or drink, enjoy some music and games or you might even want to bring your own picnic, either way there will be lots to enjoy after the event.
